Christian. Husband. Father. Artist. Photographer. Photoshopper. Teacher. SciFi Geek. Wannabe Musician.
I'm a 3rd generation photographer with plenty of alphabet soup professional designations after my name to show my age. What's important to me isn't what I've done, it's what I can do to help you!
At some point in every photographer's career, there comes a point where you recognize that there must be something more to picture-making than craft & technique. One of the beliefs we hold is that the Principles of Art & Design inform us as to what is desirable in our pictures. And it's our Craft that allows our preconceived ideas to be realized.
We take that approach regardless of our subject matter each time we go to pick up our cameras. Whether it's a wedding, commercial, fine art or portrait photography shoot the content within our frame is the secret ingredient to the power of the photography and everything else is a supporting element.
While it's taken me decades to come to understand the importance of the Art side of things in my own work, I'm happy to share the lessons we've learned so you can get there faster. Happy to share references of people I've mentored in the past so you can see if I'm the right fit for your current needs.

I have been lucky enough to have had two births – the first was in the very early 1970’s in England. I lived a very happy, if somewhat beige life, settling in London where I lived for over 10 years. I was then reborn when my wife and I moved to America where my life has taken many twists and turns, and has certainly been full of color! I’m what I consider to be a “born again” American – I chose to be here! (and yes, I’m a citizen, and very proudly so) Shortly before moving to the Pacific northwest we had our first baby, and shortly after we arrived we added another, both boys full of energy, questions and funny smells!
I like sunlight, my son’s laugher, chocolate and am firmly stuck in the late 80’s music-wise. Bon Jovi were always my favorite band, before Jonny Boy turned them into an elevator music knockoff.

What can I say? I'm a blessed girl. If you would have told me back in April of 2005 that I would quit my job as an Accountant and become the Creative Director of a business with my husband, Bob Davis, and that we would have the most amazing clients that make me cry when they look at the work we’ve created for them, I would have thought you were crazy!
BELIEVE would be the one word that I would say best represents what I am about. I believe in ME. I believe in my husband, I believe in our family. And I deeply believe in our dear Lord.
I have sat in Oprah Winfrey's kitchen, been to Paris to photograph the wedding of Eva Longoria and Tony Parker. I have designed some of the most incredible books for Forest Whitaker, Maya Angelou, Tyler Perry, Oprah, and of course Eva. I pinch myself every day. Every single day!
I am honored to share our marketing, branding and sales techniques that have proven to work, not just for photographers, for everyone who is looking to better their business. We don’t have a big studio, or spend tons of money to market, and package our products up for our clients. I can’t wait to share our approach as it’s simple and has proven to be effective!
I don’t say this to boast, I say this because I believe. I believe that if I can do this, so can you. You can live the life you want, you just need to believe in yourself, work hard, and move in a positive direction. Why not DREAM BIG? I do...!!!
I want so much to see you succeed. I'm here to help! I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion. And I look forward to meeting you!
